Artist-sculptor. Chairman of the board of the St.Petersburg Artist's Union.
    Born December 16,1937 in the Belev village, Tula oblast.
    Graduated from the Sculpture Faculty of the Leningrad Repin Painting ,Sculpture and Architecture Institute in 1966.
    Works in the field of monumental-decorative and easel sculpture. The sculptor of a number of monuments erected in St.Petersburg, Germany and China.
    Member of the Russian Artist's Union from 1972.
    Was elected Chairman of the board of the St.Petersburg Artist's Union in 1997.
    Awarded the Honourable Letter from the Leningrad Government for the successful work on the Hero-City Leningrad Monument on the Vosstaniya Square.
    Honourary Artist of the Russian Federation (1997).
