Artist.
    Born October 4, 1941 at Shchuchye Ozero, Perm oblast.
    Worked as a scene painter at the Kirov Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre and as a scaffolder at the Hermitage. He has no professional art education.
    One of the most outstanding representatives of "informal" art in Leningrad, participated in the "underground" exhibitions. Recently his personal exhibitions have been organised in Berlin, New York at the "Manezh" Central Show room and at the Hermitage.
    His works are exhibited at the Russian Museum, the Museum of St.Petersburg History and in private collections in Russia and abroad.
