Shlyakhtenko Alexander Vasilievich

   Head-Chief Designer, the Central Marine Design Bureau (CMDB) Almaz.
   Head-Chief Designer, the Central Marine Design Bureau Almaz. Has been working in the company since graduation from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute (1972).
   In 1987-90s performed a technical direction of building ships for the Indian Navy as a state consultant and the head of the group.
   In April 1991 was appointed the chief designer of a number of projects and in June of the same year the chief engineer of Almaz.
    Since 1992 is the head-chief designer of Almaz.
   In 1997 was elected a correspondent member of the St. Petersburg Engineering Academy, In 2001 took his degree of a candidate of technical sciences.
   Under his direction and with his assistance unique vessels and boats were designed and built, which became base projects for ships of the XXI century.
   Awarded with the Russia's Government Prize in the sphere of science and technology, with the Order of Honour and a number of medals.
