Krasnov Boris Nikolayevich

    Born in Leningrad on September 22, 1953. Graduated from secondary school in 1970, from the M.A. Bonch-Bruevich Electrotechnical Communications Institute in 1975. Works as a radio electronics engineer.
   Participated in the work of Leningrad City Song Club in 1980-83 and 1986-87 as a performing author. Laureate of "Nevskaya Volna" (Wave of Neva") radio contest.
   Participated in "Young Writers of the North-West" conferences in 1983 and 1986.
   Published his first book of poetry titled "Variable Cloud" (Lenizdat publishers) in 1989.
   His second book, titled "Pendulum" ("Redaktor" publishers), was printed in 1995.
   Became member of Russia's Writers' Association in 1997.
   B.N. Krasnov writes prose as well as poetry. His children's stories and novels have been published in "Koster" magazine.
