Dubravin Yakov Isaakovich

    Honored cultural worker, composer, Professor of St. Petersburg University of Culture and Arts.
    Born on July 7, 1939 in Leningrad. During his school years he has studied at the choral academy at Leningrad M. I. Glinka Cappella. In 1962 he graduated from N. A. Rimskij-Korsakoff State Conservatory of Music.
    Among the works, composed by Y. I. Dubravin there are two musicals, operetta, and six cantatas for children's choir, music for cinema, television and theater. Various performers and singers performed his music at many well-known stages and concert halls.
    He is the laureate of many Statewide and local prizes and Honors. Since 1998 he is the coordinating director of all concert programs of Russian Federation.
