The member of the government, the head of the Committee for the economic development, industry policy and trade of Saint-Petersburg.

Born on February 24 1967 in Miass, the city of Chelabinsk region, in the family of engineers (in 1974 the family moved to Pskov).

Graduated from Leningrad mechanics institute (1993 ã.), the Academy of law and government (Moscow, 2001).

Worked as a general manager of the branch of PskovAkoBank in Saint-Petersburg, head of the Municipal financial corporation (Pskov), financial director of "Plastprom" plant (Pskov), director of "Protek" plant (Pskov region), counsellor of the Head of Pskov regional Administration.

In 2001 - 2002 - Deputy head of Pskov regional Administration in charge of the investment policy and finding investors, electric power resources, state regulation of prices and rates, the programs, financed from the budget and ecological policy.

Starting from 2002 - deputy head of the governing body of the joint-stock company "Promstroibank" (Saint-Petersburg). He was in charge of the regional business of the bank in the North-West region of Russia.

The member of the Council of Experts at the office of the Plenipotentiary of the President in the North-West federal district, was a member of the group working out the long-term strategy of social and economic development of the district for the period till 2015.

Married, has three sons.
