    Born August 11, 1923.Graduated from the Military Physical Training and Sports Institute as a Physical Training teacher.
    Participated Masking the altitude majorants of Leningrad (St.Isaak's, St.Peter and Paul, Nicholas's Cathedrals, Admiralty, Engineering Castle during the Great Patriotic War.
    Since 1950 has been teaching the city High schools. Headed the Physical Education Faculty of the St.Petersburg Humanitarian Trade Union University.
    Worked in Iceland as the coach of the national track and field (1977- 1980) team.
    Professor. Author of more than 60 scientific works. Full Member of the Academy of Tourism and Russian Geographical Society. Honourary Coach of Russian Federation. Master of Sports. Arbitrator of International category. President of the Pentathlon Federation of St.Petersburg and Leningrad oblast. Chairman of the War Mountain squads Veterans Council. People's Deputy of Petrograd district Council (1990- 1993). Chairman of the Physical Education Committee.
    Married with two sons.
